How the estimates work

  1. 1Distance and flight timeThe great circle between each city's main private-jet airport, divided by a typical block speed for each jet size, plus 0.3 hours a leg for taxi, climb and descent. Beyond a size's practical range, add a fuel stop.
  2. 2Published ratesHourly rates as each company publishes them on its own website, checked October 2, 2026, with the 7.5% federal excise tax added only where it says tax is extra. No licensed or third-party pricing data. The range for a jet size is the middle half of what those rates come to.
  3. 3Our own card, on its own termsCRAFT's Fleet Jet Card is costed with its published terms: the 25-hour rate, fuel and FET included, and the 2-hour daily minimum. It sits where its estimate falls.
  4. 4Then a real priceEstimates leave out minimums, peak days, airport fees and repositioning. The quote form on every route gets you a firm number for your trip.

Every published rate, by company and cabin: the jet card rate board.

Editorial assumptions, set conservatively; not manufacturer figures. Payload, winds, runway length and temperature can all change the real flight time and whether a stop is needed.

Tell us the trip. We'll tell you the number.

Route, dates, rough timing, how many people. That is enough to start, and you get a firm price for that specific trip rather than a range.
