Before you book

How much does it cost to charter a private jet with CRAFT?

There is no rate card, and an hourly number quoted before anyone has seen your trip is a guess dressed up as a price. Each quote is built against the itinerary itself: where the aircraft already is, how the crew duty limits fall, and what the airports charge at both ends. The same route can price differently on two different days for reasons that have nothing to do with you. Send us the trip and you get a firm number rather than a range.

How far ahead do I need to book?

For charter there is no minimum. Book as far ahead as you can and you get more choice of aircraft and departure time, but short-notice trips are routine here rather than a favor. The Fleet Jet Card has three callouts: Planner (five days, base rate), Priority (72 hours) and Express (48 hours). Inside 48 hours, card trips fly as available.

Can you fly today?

Often, yes. Same-day departures are something we do rather than an exception we make, because we operate the aircraft ourselves: we can see where each one is and which crew is legal to fly it without calling anybody else to find out. If the trip is today or tomorrow, skip the form and call +1 (310) 848-3636, and you will get a straight answer quickly either way.

Who operates my flight?

CRAFT does. We hold our own FAA Part 135 certificate, operate the five Challengers, maintain them in house, and employ the crews who fly them. When you call, you are talking to the people who schedule the aircraft and crews.

Where do you fly?

North America, the Caribbean, and Central America, from our base at Opa-locka Executive Airport (KOPF) in Miami. The Challenger 300 flies about 3,000 miles nonstop and the 350 about 3,200, which covers the United States coast to coast without stopping. The aircraft can also use small airports, so you can usually land nearer to where you are actually going than an airline would take you.

How many passengers can fly?

Nine on a Challenger 300 and eight on a Challenger 350. A flight attendant takes a cabin seat, so a 300 with one on board seats eight. For a group larger than that we can put more than one aircraft on the same trip.

What is the Fleet Jet Card, and what does it cost?

Prepaid hours on a Challenger 300 or 350, flown by CRAFT crews, with Starlink. Published rates, fuel and FET included: 25 hours at $12,950/hr ($323,750), 50 hours at $12,650/hr ($632,500), 100 hours at $12,250/hr ($1,225,000). Rates include fuel within the index band and the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic legs, and are locked for 12 months (24 at 50 hours and up).

Should I buy a jet card or book charter?

It depends on how you fly. Charter is priced trip by trip and you pay only for what you take, which suits travel that is occasional or hard to predict. The card buys hours up front at a published rate, fuel and FET included, so you stop pricing every trip and always fly the same Challengers. If you are not sure which fits, tell us roughly how often you expect to fly and we will say which one suits you.

How do I pay?

Payment is arranged directly with the charter desk once you have accepted a quote. There is no instant checkout on this site, and you should never send card or bank details through a form here. If you receive a message asking you to, it did not come from us.

Safety and the aircraft

What safety standards does CRAFT fly to?

We have flown charter since 2020 with a spotless safety record. Every flight operates under FAA Part 135 rules, including owner trips, and we are ARGUS Platinum Rated, which requires an on-site audit, and listed on the Wyvern registry.

About CRAFT →

What aircraft will I fly on?

One of five Bombardier Challengers, three 300s and two 350s. The fleet is deliberately all one type, so the crews, the maintenance, and the cabin are the same whichever tail you get and nothing about your trip changes if we have to swap one for another. Every cabin is stand-up height with a flat floor, and fitted with Starlink, Live TV, and Bluetooth audio.

Is there Wi-Fi on board?

Yes. Every aircraft in the fleet has Starlink. If you have not flown with it before, expect a pleasant surprise: streaming, video calls, and anything else you would do on the connection at home all work the same way at altitude.

On the day

How early do I need to be at the airport?

Fifteen minutes before departure, whether you're flying domestically or internationally. That covers baggage loading, a short briefing from the crew, and an ID check. There is no terminal to cross and no line to stand in.

How will I find my airplane at the airport?

Your trip sheet has everything you need on it, including which FBO to head for and the tail number of your aircraft. The crew waits for you in the FBO lobby, and at most airports you can drive straight out to the ramp instead. The tail number is painted on the tail, and either our crew or the ground crew will take you out to it.

Do I need to bring ID on a private flight?

Yes. TSA rules require passengers over 18 to carry a Real ID on domestic flights, and anyone flying internationally to carry a passport.

Is there a flight attendant on board?

Not as standard, but we can arrange one for your trip when you book. The attendant takes a cabin seat, so a flight with one on board seats eight passengers rather than nine.

What food and drink are on board?

Every flight carries snacks, soft drinks, and liquor. Catering beyond that can be arranged with your trip.

Are pets allowed on board?

Pets are welcome. Add them when you book and tell us how many are coming, so the crew can set the cabin up for them.
