Aruba sits outside the hurricane belt, so it works as a beach trip in any month. CBP also offers preclearance for private aircraft at Aruba's airport, one of very few places it does, so the return flight can complete U.S. customs inspection in Aruba before departure.

Queen Beatrix International (Reina Beatrix) has a separate general aviation terminal, run by the Aruba Airport Authority itself since January 2023. Winter, roughly mid-December through April, is the main season for North American visitors, and Carnival fills January and February.
