Airworthiness directives

5 FAA ADs name the G700

5 in force, 2 recurring.
  • AD 2026-13-51 This AD was prompted by a report indicating that a hollow pin cap on the right engine aft thrust strut was found broken due to a missing sleeve bushing.
  • AD 2006-18-13 We are issuing this AD to prevent the loss of the hardover prevention system (HOPS) in the roll axis due to a short circuit in the wiring harness, which could result in reduced controllability of the airplane.
  • AD 2006-11-03 We are issuing this AD to prevent broken damper shafts, which could result in locking of an aileron or elevator actuator (hard-over condition), which would activate the hard-over protection system (HOPS), resulting in increased pilot workload and consequent reduced controllability of the airplane.
  • AD 2004-22-16 This AD was prompted by reports of insufficient clearance between certain wiring harnesses and the crew oxygen bottle on several in-production and in-service airplanes.

FAQ

G700 questions

How much does a G700 cost?

Listing-based estimates for the 5 G700s on Radar run from about $79M to $80M, with a middle estimate of $79M. They are rough estimates from public listings and market reports, not appraisals.

What affects the price of a G700?

What moves the price of any one G700: total time and engine time, engine program enrollment, damage history, avionics and equipment, and complete logbooks. Build year sets the baseline; a G700 with high hours, an engine near overhaul or gaps in its records sells below it, and one with low time, recent inspections and full records above it.

Where can I find a G700 for sale?

Radar does not list aircraft for sale. It tracks all 132 US-registered G700s by tail number, each with its registration record and a value estimate, so you can check a listing against the value of its build year and look up the aircraft's own history before you call.

How many G700s are there?

132 G700s are on the US civil aircraft register (FAA file of October 2026), built 2006 to 2026. Aircraft registered in other countries are not counted. Radar has a page for each US registration.

What are the G700's specs?

As published: up to 19 passengers, a range of 7,750 nm (8,919 statute miles), a maximum operating Mach of 0.935, a ceiling of 51,000 ft, a cabin 6 ft 3 in high, 8 ft 2 in wide and 2 × Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 (BR700-730B2-14) engines. A given aircraft varies with its completion, weight and modifications.

How far can a G700 fly?

The G700's published range is 7,750 nautical miles (8,919 statute miles), with m0.85, 8 passengers, 4 crew, NBAA IFR reserves (6,650 nm at M0.90). Winds, payload, cruise speed and the reserves a flight carries change what a given trip can do.

Can a G700 cross the Atlantic?

Yes. New York to London is about 2,986 nm, inside the G700's published range of 7,750 nm, so the crossing can be flown nonstop.

Can a G700 fly to Hawaii?

Yes. Los Angeles to Honolulu is about 2,217 nm, well inside the G700's published range of 7,750 nm.

How fast is the G700?

Its maximum operating Mach number (the speed limit it is certified to) is 0.935. Cruise speeds depend on altitude and weight.

How high can a G700 fly?

The G700 is certified to 51,000 feet. Heavy aircraft climb there in steps as they burn fuel.

How many passengers does a G700 seat?

Up to 19 passengers, the most the type is published for. Many aircraft are completed with fewer, larger seats, so a given G700 may seat fewer.

How big is the G700 cabin?

6 ft 3 in high and 8 ft 2 in wide, 56 ft 11 in long, as published.

Who owns G700s?

Of the 132 US-registered G700s, 122 (92%) are registered to companies, trusts and other entities and 10 to individuals. Radar names entity owners only; individuals are shown as privately registered. The most common states of registration are GA (75), UT (23), DE (7).

Data: Radar, FAA aircraft registry file of 2026-10-09.
