Duty of care
CRAFT holds its own FAA Part 135 certificate, operates its five Challengers, maintains them in house and employs the crews who fly them. We are ARGUS Platinum Rated and listed on the Wyvern registry. Your travel or security team can verify the certificate and every tail number on the FAA's list of Part 135 operators.
Booking through a broker is common and legal, but the broker books another company's aircraft. Here is what changes between a broker and an operator and how to check who is flying your people.
If a CRAFT Challenger is unavailable for a confirmed trip, we may arrange a comparable aircraft. Terms

The cabin
Nine seats on a Challenger 300 and eight on a 350, a stand-up cabin with a flat floor, and Starlink on every tail, so a team can hold a meeting on the way to the meeting. The 300 flies about 3,000 miles nonstop and the 350 about 3,200: coast to coast without a fuel stop.
The aircraft can use smaller airports than an airline, so your executives land closer to the office, the plant or the client, and leave when the meeting ends rather than when the schedule says.

Each charter is quoted for the specific trip, because the price depends on where the aircraft already is, crew duty limits and the airports at both ends. For planning, our instant estimate uses about $11,000 per flight hour on a Challenger 350, including 7.5% FET and repositioning; airport, handling and segment fees come in the firm quote, which replaces the estimate. Companies that fly regularly can buy hours on the Fleet Jet Card at published rates instead.
Yes. The Corporate Program bills the company, with one account manager who knows your travel policy and approval chain, so executives and assistants can book without handling payment on each trip.
Yes. The Corporate Program is not capped at one aircraft or one departure, so when a team has to be in one place by morning we can put more than one Challenger on the same day, subject to availability.
The one that carries your team and bags nonstop on the routes you fly, with a cabin you can work in. CRAFT flies only the super-midsize Challenger 300 and 350: up to nine passengers, a stand-up cabin with a flat floor, Starlink, and the range to cross the United States nonstop. For two people on a short hop, a smaller jet from another operator may cost less per hour, and we will say so.
Charter for a genuine business purpose is generally treated as a business travel expense, but the IRS has specific rules on personal use, entertainment and who is on board. Ask your tax advisor before you rely on a deduction.
Either can work. A broker arranges flights on other companies' aircraft and must name the operator before you sign; an operator flies its own aircraft under its own FAA certificate. CRAFT is the operator: we hold the Part 135 certificate, employ the crews and maintain the aircraft.
CRAFT does. We hold our own FAA Part 135 certificate, operate the five Challengers, maintain them in house, and employ the crews who fly them. When you call, you are talking to the people who schedule the aircraft and crews.
Nine on a Challenger 300 and eight on a Challenger 350. A flight attendant takes a cabin seat, so a 300 with one on board seats eight. For a group larger than that we can put more than one aircraft on the same trip.
Often, yes. Same-day departures are something we do rather than an exception we make, because we operate the aircraft ourselves: we can see where each one is and which crew is legal to fly it without calling anybody else to find out. If the trip is today or tomorrow, skip the form and call +1 (310) 848-3636, and you will get a straight answer quickly either way.
Payment is arranged directly with the charter desk once you have accepted a quote. There is no instant checkout on this site, and you should never send card or bank details through a form here. If you receive a message asking you to, it did not come from us.
Corporate charter
Route, dates and who is travelling is enough to start. You get a firm price for that trip, and we set up company billing and an account manager for the ones after it.
A CRAFT flight coordinator usually replies within 30 minutes, 7amโ10pm ET.
