Methodology
How the index is built
- One source per company: its own website. Every rate is the hourly figure the company posts on the page linked in the source column, checked October 2, 2026. No licensed, survey or third-party pricing data, and no estimates.
- Rates as published. Nothing is added or converted. The tax and fuel columns say what the company's page states the rate includes; "Not stated" means it doesn't say. Euro rates stay in euros.
- Cabin sizes are the company's own where it names one (turboprop, very light, light, midsize, super-midsize, large or heavy, ultra-long-range). Rates without a size are listed but left out of the cabin figures.
- Medians use every U.S.-dollar rate in a size, so a company that posts several rates in one size (by purchase level, say) counts each. Low and high are the lowest and highest posted rate.
- CRAFT is included on the same terms, in its alphabetical place, and marked "ours": the Fleet Jet Card, super-midsize, fuel and FET included.
- Not a quote. Minimums, notice, peak days, fees and what's included differ by program. To see the extras on a like-for-like basis, use the jet card price guide and calculator.

Do these rates include fuel and the 7.5% federal excise tax?
It varies. 12 of 96 rates include the tax, 43 add it on top, and the rest don't say. The index shows each rate as published, with no tax or fuel added, and marks what each company's page says is included. CRAFT's card is $12,950 an hour on 25 hours, fuel and FET included.
